- I had HUGE plans for my life, but Life had other plans for me when I contracted MDS Leukemia (Smoldering Leukemia), which grew into AML Leukemia, altering my life in ways I never imagined possible. These days I am limited to Writing, watching TV, as I await a new Bone Marrow:) I was recently driven over to Captiva Island to see my family, go to the pristine Sea, feel the white sand beneath my toes & find lots of cool shells...instead, I spent the entire time lying in bed, as I am barely mobile these days. Meanwhile, I am hanging in there, having faith they'll find an HLA Tissue match for me & I can have my Bone Marrow Transplant which could toss my illness into remission!!!:):):) For some reason, FRINGE provides that hope for me, along with the many prayers from my loving family and more friends than I count!
